MAN! Am I ever sick of seeing that message!
I was only using the intitle: operator with “automatic comment submitter” (with quotes), to see how many sites have that exact phrase in their page Title.
intitle:”automatic comment submitter”
Is Google broken?
On the other hand, using allintitle and removing the quotes works fine:
allintitle:Automated Comment Submitter
I think the Google search engine is doing things that the Google engineers are not aware of.
I mean, Google is a big machine, who could possibly keep track of it all?

Thanks for the comment.
So…. was the comment on my blog http://www.blog.adequately-average.com an automated comment?
I’d be curious to know!

Google went on vacation…
this usually happens if you our someone on your networking has been messing about with google, submitting loads of links.
that is a cool find.. “Google search engine is doing things that the Google engineers are not aware of” - that is how “Rise of the Machines” getting started!
This happened to me earlier just before I saw this post. That is when I use the browser Firefox. Haven’t tried it on IE.
Had this problem, too - in both Firefox 3 & IE 7. Downloaded a spy removal program (http://www.tenebril.com/), removed all traces of spyware, & that’s all it took.
Excellent content. Keep up the great work.
Really pretty good stuff on there. I bookmarked this web site. Thanks a lot and cheers from Australia!
