Free Link Bait Advice #3 - Bomb Proof Interior Design in Israel Shocks Neighbors!

I have a blog about interior design in Israel. Any suggestions?

Hi Shira, thank you for requesting free link bait advice.

This is probably in bad taste, but as an American, the first thing that comes to my mind would be making light of the travesty of the bombs and other violence in that region; the humor hook. Of course, if it offends anyone, all the better, LOL.

A wall mural which gives the illusion of gazing into a bombed out bedroom/spareroom, or whatever.

A carpet that looks like a bomb crater.

A door with a silhouette of a security guard.

Maybe I’m thinking art rather than “design”, but remember, this is all about getting attention and back links.

Thank you for requesting link bait advice from Blackhatbootcamp.com :)

Role-Playing Game e-Commerce Site Requests Linkbait Advice From Blackhatbootcamp.com

Saturday, September 20th, 2008

Hunter’s request is next in line:

Love to here what you will come up with for my site. It is an e-commerce site selling accounts for mmorpg.

I had no idea of the meaning of MMORPG.

Checking Google, I found Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game via wikipedia.org

One thing that sorta jumped off the wiki page was the Bartle Test Of Gamer Psychology. I even decided to take the test myself just for the check up from the neck up. :)

Bartle Test of Gamer Psychology

I would write a parody of their test or a similar test but for fun only.

I remember, way back, when I was spending all my time on IRC there was a funny list of items like “You Know You’re Chatting Too Much IF…” with humorous endings.

I started a thread like that on syndk8.net, my favorite blackhat forum. It was like, “You Know You’re Spending Too Much Time on Syndk8 IF…”

I wrote a few to start the thread, then other members jumped in, it was funny as hell.

Back to your MMORPG e-commerce site.

Here’s an example from the Bartle Test…

Which would you rather do:

Getting to a certain experience level faster than anyone else
Solve a riddle no one else has gotten

The multiple choice answers might be rewritten like:

When you’re not gaining points, which would you rather do:
1. Toss your PC out the window in frustration
2. Slam you fist threw your monitor.
3. Switch to a game of Tic-Tac-Toe

Ok, not very funny, but you get the idea. You know the people and the gamers, I do not. You need to get into their heads in order to experience what makes them laugh regarding gaming.

As Matt Cutts says about linkbait and getting quality back links… be creative. By the way, Matt Cutts is #1 in Google for “the link bait king“.

Thank you for requesting link bait advice from Bompa of Blackhatbootcamp.com :)

Free Link Bait Service Earns Quality Links for Blackhatbootcamp.com Readers!

Friday, September 19th, 2008

Yipes!

Well, I opened my big mouth and promised to give free link bait advice to anyone that requested it.

The main problem that I have created for myself is that, normally, one would be extremely familiar with the site where the bait will be as well as all the competition, but I think there is not even time in the day for me to research all these niches, plus I am not always given a real site that I can look at and brainstorm with.

Oh well, here goes…

Lyndon’s request was first with his hypothetical carpet cleaning business.

OK, lets try out the service. I need some linkbait ideas for a carpet cleaning company. What do you suggest?

Hi Lyndon, thank you for you request. :)

The first thing that comes to mind is a photo of a huge pile of dirt, crud, mud, cow shit, or whatever, smack dab in the middle of a beautifully carpeted high class furniture showroom!

Just put the photo on your site and the photo, in itself, would be the linkbait because people love to link to crazy, outrageous pics.

On a commercial site, such as a carpet cleaning business, you’d need to give the link bait campaign a pretty good kick start. I would join forums of all types and have something like “Largest Pile of Cowshit in the World!” as my signature; clickbait!

You could also submit the photo to some of the photo sharing places online. Get a few links to it and it might get picked up.

Of course, you can go further with the pic on your site; a caption, bragging about how well you cleaned the pile of shit up, etc etc, but the bait, imo, is just the pic.

Thank you and come again,

Lyndon Antcliff Charges $400/Hour for Linkbait Coaching - I Do It For FREE!!!

Wednesday, September 17th, 2008

It’s true that Lyndon Antcliff of cornwallseo.com charges corporate clients $400 PER HOUR with a 10 hour minimum and it’s true that he has started a more personal service for smaller business’ where you can avail yourself of his expert linkbait coaching for only $400/mo.

That probably sounds like a lot of money, but that only depends on one’s advertising budget and one’s expected ROI. I know internet marketers that have spent $400 on the xrumer program and although it has helped them, it didn’t get their sites all ranking top ten.

Good linkbait is an attention grabber and causes other webmasters to WANT to link to you. Regarding your website promotion, there is just nothing better than juicy link bait.

And keep in mind that linkbait does not always have to be a written article or “breaking news”. It could be a puzzle, a mesmerizing image, a list, a secret, or some sort of freebie.

So, although I do recommend Lyndon’s expert linkbait coaching, I am also offering my non-expert coaching right here on this blog FOR FREE!.

Just comment on this post with your site, I’ll check it out, and come up with some linkbait ideas for you, for FREE!

:D

Why Programmers Are Broke and Marketers Earn Millions!

Sunday, September 14th, 2008

A comment appeared today from CuriousSEO for a post that I wrote Tuesday, June 10th, 2008. The post was about getting traffic the easy way; what I call: “trafficbait”.

Here is a snippet of his comment:

So the question I’m getting at…if I am not a techgeek (note not LAZY, but just not wired to be a computer programmer), am I out of my league here?

His entire comment and original post:

@CuriousSEO

Not at all. Most guys that I know do not program at all.

Programming can be an advantage, but it’s just a waste of time if the webmaster is not creative. That is the SECRET SAUCE to success online; creativity. Do a search for “link bait”…

Matt Cutts, Google engineer, says:
“On a meta-level, I think of ‘linkbait’ as something interesting enough to catch people’s attention, and that doesn’t have to be a bad thing”

So, link bait, is coming up with an idea that people can not resist, it’s just TOO GOOD to not check out. Then you implement that idea with a blog title and a few good back links. No programming required.

Look at Mark Zuckerberg, the youngest billioniare in the world! True, he was a student at MIT when he started Facebook, but it was his IDEA that spread around the web like wildfire, not his programming skills.

There are hundreds of examples everyday. Look at the Titles on Reddit.com, digg.com and such.

Anyways, yes, you can outsource programming. There are several sites that specialize in that stuff. Also, join forums and you can usually find a good programmer that is broke and needs some cash. LOL. Programmers, by their very nature are NOT creative, (they are methodical and systematic), but they are usually not creative in the sense of link bait and salesmanship. (of course, there are exceptions to that)

Syndk8.net is probably the oldest and biggest blackhat search engine spammers forum; it’s founder, EarlGrey, who was written about in NewsWeek magazine does not write a line of code. He knows how time consuming programming can be. Instead, he puts his energy into coming up with new, interesting, and sometimes, crazy-sounding ideas. He does well.

Here are a few ideas from cornwallseo.com

Here’s a guy that charges $400/hour to give you link bait advice. LMFAO

Think out of the box.

Think of the craziest wildest things that you can imagine.

Go crazy with this.

Make it a game you play!

Blackhat SEO - Gaming Google Trends Is Like Taking Candy From a Baby!

Friday, August 29th, 2008

Making money by tracking and reacting quickly to Google Trends is becoming more and more popular these days. There is a new site selling a Google Tracking Service here. I think they charge $17.50 per month.

When I heard of that site, I naturally had to create a similar service for the Boot Camp Members

Here’s a few clippings of a screenshot of our service TrendPro.

The MOVERS section section shows the Google Trends that moved up the most in the last hour:

This is the MAIN window, showing all 100 Google Trends with the movement up or down clearly labeled and highlighted so that you can target the best opportunities.

This section show just the Google Trends that are new this hour.

More analysis of each trend is needed to really pinpoint a winner. You might think that these phrases would be difficult to rank well, but usually there is one or two each hour that are just like taking candy from a baby because no one else is SEO’ing and gathering back links yet and when you hit a trend, you can easily get a couple thousand visitors in the following 24 hours.

Good Luck!

GAINED 300 RSS SUBSCRIBERS READERS

When I wrote my KommentKing Comment Submitter, I had no idea of the adverting power it would have. Actually, I only wrote it for my SEO Boot Camp members.

I ran the program (KommentKing) right here on my Windows pc for just five days, and when I ever saw that people were subscribing to my RSS feed faster than I could whistle Dixie, I was amazed!

KommentKing is loaded for my SEO Boot Camp members with over 60,000 blogs.

I am still getting emails every day asking if I will sell KommentKing and when I tell them “sure, the price is only $167.00US, but you can join my SEO Boot Camp and get it for free.” They SIGN UP pretty quick. :D

Blackhat SEO - Windows Desktop Simple Keyword Analysis Niche Finder beta Released Today!

Sunday, July 27th, 2008

Okay, I admit it, this is nothing earth shattering, but a few Boot Camp members showed some interest so I converted my raw perl code to a user-friendly Windows Desktop .exe program for them.

SimpleNicheFinder takes a keyword phrase from a list you provide and does three Google queries on the phrase.

1. Just a plain standard query as a typical searcher would do it.
2. In quotes to see how many pages have the exact phrase.
3. All in Title to see how many pages are aggressively targeting the phrase.

An example output for the phrase:
bad credit personal loan keywords

bad credit personal loan keywords 2,380,000
“bad credit personal loan keywords” 481
allintitle:bad credit personal loan keywords 0

That output displays in a window that you can view and it is saved to a HTML file for later reference.

In the above example, at first glance with a normal search, the phrase returns 2,380,000, but with the allintitle: operator, it returns ZERO results. :D

I’m telling you, that’s a keyword phrase that you can dominate today!

Put that exact phrase in the Title of a page and get a few good back links, BOOM! You will be #1. LOL

Will it get traffic? Traffic is another story for another day.

Many readers are asking me how they can obtain my link-gathering and research tools. Sorry, although I could sell them on the open market and make some serious cash, I have reserved them for my Boot Camp Members Only.

Actually, that’s good news for you because you can obtain:

Desktop tools worth hundreds of dollars
    Full time support
Direct contact with the code author (me)
    Free Upgrades
Free WH & BH SEO consultation
    Exclusive, non-flooded usage.

So, if you want a shit load of backlink and research tools, go to BLACKHAT SEO BOOT CAMP
