Google Admits Using ClickThru Data!!!

Thursday, November 12th, 2009

For years, the debate and speculation has continued, but now can finally put to rest; Google admits to using click thourgh data in their organic news search. By the way, quite often, a news item will ALSO appear in the normal, everyday, organic seach, so you need to pay attention to this. It’s a sign of things to come!

The last signal I want to cover in article ranking is the idea of trusted sources. For us, trusted sources doesn’t have to do with some arbitrary decision that we make, but it’s actually data driven. So, according to our data over time, did users start to look at your articles and then click on them?… ~ Maile Ohye, Google Developer Programs Tech Lead.

So, let’s get started on our organic-SERPs-clickbots. :D

Matt Cutts Ends Google Ban Myth!

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

sexy shocked girl

Over the years there’s been many warnings to the effect “too many links per page can raise red flags with Google” and maybe get your site banned. Why? Because Google recommends no more than 100 links per page in their content guidelines, and so, every webmaster trembles with fear.

This is like the ancients thinking thunder and lightning were an angry god.

google ancient god

In March of this year, Matt Cutts, Google’s Quality Control Supervisor, put up a new page with over 100 links.

I’m about to publish a blog post with a ton of links in it — almost two hundred of them. ~ Matt Cutts

Because Matt, himself, is doing it, finally he thinks that the millions of scared-to-death, Googlegod-fearing webmasters around the world should know the truth.

ping the world internet traffic

The original reason we provided that recommendation is that Google used to index only about 100 kilobytes of a page. When we thought about how many links a page might reasonably have and still be under 100K, it seemed about right to recommend 100 links or so. If a page started to have more than that many links, there was a chance that the page would be so long that Google would truncate the page and wouldn’t index the entire page. ~ Matt Cutts

I suppose that makes some sense from Google’s point of view. They would certainly rather sacrifice links than cut down on the content, but 100K is a big page. We’re not talking about the images, etc, just the source HTML.

In any case, the point is that Google does NOT automatically label pages with over 100 links as spam.

Does Google automatically consider a page spam if your page has over 100 links? No, not at all. ~ Matt Cutts

Quoted from:

Another myth busted! Now you can rest easy.

PAGERANK UPDATE NEWS!

GOOGLE PAGERANK UPDATE NEWS

Everyone’s talking about it!

Google has updated PageRank

Wooooohooooo!!!!

And all the same old questions are being asked again and again.

First of all, Google updates PageRank on a continuous basis, everyday, around the clock, but we do NOT see that PageRank until Google exports it to the Toolbar.  Then you see your PageRank as of THAT particular export time and date.

Next, an increase in PageRank does not mean that your site should rank better.  It only means that you are now seeing, in your toolbar what Google has known all along.

A decrease in PageRank is important because you might need to restart your link campaign.

We lose PageRank for several reasons:

  • It could mean that some of the sites that were linking to you have deleted your link.
  • Also, if you comment on dofollow blogs, the post where your comment is may be dropping down in their archives: if it has less PR, so will your comment link.
  • It could also mean that the sites where you have links have actually lost their PageRank.

You should check the PageRank of those sites where you have links.

My boot camp members have a custom program for this: PRbot.

Here’s a screen shot:

Without good tools, it’s really difficult to obtain a good PageRank.

My boot camp members have tools designed just for this purpose, such as, PageRankSiphon.

Well, good luck,

The Link Wheel ~ Clever SEO or Clever Scam?

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

link wheel

In a forum the other day, someone asked “What is a link wheel?”

Many people are talking about link wheels.

It’s the latest link fashion. ;)

So, I replied with my answer, but, as they say in China, a picture is worth a thousand words…

link wheel

Seems simple enough, what’s all the fuss?

There is someone on www.v7n.com that is selling link wheels. :D

This guy on v7n even offers three sizes of link wheels….

Prices:
1. Basic Wheel —— $15 (2 days)
5 high PR Web 2.0 Properties

2. Medium Wheel —- $30 (3 days)
12 high PR Web 2.0 Properties

3. Full Wheel ——– $55 (4 days)
16 high PR Web 2.0 Properties

He claims that the web2.0 “properties” will be on high PR sites, but he does not say how high. Plus, since they are newly created with no links from the parent site, they will have ZERO PageRank.

If YOU are going to try something like this, be SURE to get a link from the parent site similar to how our own PageRankThief, (members only), does; by voting, commenting, or whatever.

So, bottom line, this guy is not a scam, BUT, if you’re going to outsource it to someone, be sure to know the PageRank of the Web 2.0 sites first and remember you will need to get links from the parent site OR you get NO BENEFIT from the parent site.

Bikini Tools Get the Job Done Right!

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

free webmaster seo tools

Bikinis are those little things that hide a girl’s best parts; yum.

Bikini Tools are those little tools that help you get your SEO job done right.

A new site, besome1.info is hosting some of my tools and it looks like they will be adding tools from other SEO’s also.

They are all FREE. No email optin or any other bait and switch.

Some are hosted online besome1.info like the Google Trends tracker and the free proxy service, and a few are downloadable for your Windows desktop, such as, YahooBot, BingBot, and then there is the list of 101 PR3+ DOFOLLOW blogs. Woot!

My favorite is the online Forum Watcher. It’s like an RSS Reader where I can get a summary of 12 Webmaster SEO forums at a glance. This way I don’t miss the hot scoops.

I encourage my readers to check them out asap.

I encourage other programmers to submit their tools to besome1.info for a good back link and high targeted traffic.

Big Boobs Increase PageRank!

Monday, October 26th, 2009

big boobs increase pagerank

“Big Boobs Increase PageRank!”

How can a statement like that be true?

Easy. Sex sells. Most surfers are men age 15-40. They love a pretty face, cute butt, long bare legs, and big boobs!

You’ve heard of Show & Tell? This is about See & Tell. They see the image and they tell their friends. When they tell their friends, they do so with a link. Badda-bing! PageRank!

It’s called link bait and it works best if the Title (headline) is a bit outrageous, and it helps to follow up that title with something substantial or readers will just feel tricked and NOT come back.

On the other hand, the tabloids have been selling by the millions for decades and their headlines have little to do with the actual story. Go figure.

I guess it’s just human nature to check out a juicy headline.

So, make your headlines IRRESISTIBLE!!!

Why rel=nofollow Links are Okay with me.

Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009

rel=nofollow Links are Okay with me

Most webmasters avoid nofollow links like the plague. There have been times when I did the same.

Here is why nofollow links are okay.

Let’s say I comment on a blog and reference my main site, blackhatbootcamp.com, in my comment. Then the blog software adds the rel=nofollow attribute to the link.

Next day some rinky-dink crawler, (rinkydinkbot) comes along and crawls that permalink grabbing all the links, including mine. Eventually, rinkydink.com displays, (for some reason, who knows why it’s a big web), the same link to blackhatbootcamp.com.

Woot! There’s my link and it more than likely is getting more link juice from rinkydink.com than it would have from the blog.

There are tons of upcoming, no-name type of sites that crawl and mirror what they find…
Results 1 - 10 of about 10,620,000,000 for inurl:search.

Ten BILLION just for that query alone!!!

And I love how Google can do nothing about it; it’s the nature of the web.

Free Download YahooBot URL Scraper Script Program!

Sunday, August 30th, 2009

There are several Google SERP scrapers around.  Syndk8 sells one.  I created SearchBot for my members.  But I don’t recall seeing a scraper for Yahoo search so I decided to write one for the Windows desktop and give it to my blog readers free!

Of coure, you’ve no doubt heard that Yahoo will be outsourcing their SERPs to bing.com soon, so this programs life is somewhat limited.  Though, it could be 6 to 12 months before Yahoo makes the big switch so get this and start finding targets in Yahoo search!

You can download it here:  http://blackhatbootcamp.net/

The other tools on that page are a sample of the tools that my bootcamp members get with their membership.

UPDATE: I just found an article on computerworld that claims the bing/yahoo deal could take up to two years to complete: computerworld. This makes this free download YahooBot much more valuable to you!.

WHERE TO BUY GENERIC VIAGRA SAFELY

WHERE TO BUY GENERIC VIAGRA SAFELYCLICK HERE

.

There is cash in the long tails!

A phrase such as “where to buy generic viagra safely” will not get many searches in the search engines, and that is exactly why it’s called long tail.

As of this writing, (Published on: Aug 25, 2009 @ 14:06 gmt+8):
No results found for “where to buy generic viagra safely”. (with quotes, on Google)

I checked with allintitle: operator:
Your search - allintitle:where to buy generic viagra safely - did not match any documents (on Google)

Just searching the phrase as a regular person would, no quotes or other operators, it looks very competitive: Results 1 - 10 of about 8,600,000 for where to buy generic viagra safely.

OMG!

How could I ever hope to rank near the top of 8.6 MILLION pages????

However, if I click through Google’s serps to the last page…

Results 411 - 419 of about 8,480,000 for where to buy generic viagra safely

There are only 419 unique domains for that query, the other 8,479,581 are dupes, I guess. :D

This is getting interesting.

Since there is almost no competition, let’s see where this post ranks in 24 hours with just a ping.
